Abid Javed

Abid Javed is a ceramic artist, creating collectible ‘molecular objects’. With a background in Molecular Biology, the collections and objects bring the unseen world to the forefront, with an aim to build a spiritual connection. 

The body of workplaces itself in between functional and sculptural, focusing on form and the natural state of the clay body.  Subject matters explored include cells, molecules, together with Arabic script and geometry.
