AYSE HABIBE KUCUK

Ayse Habibe Kucuk, a sculptural ceramic artist with roots in Gaziantep, draws inspirationfrom her hometown's traditional forms to infuse her works with a sense of East meets West.

Trained at Sakarya University, Ayse's hand- built ceramics strike a balance between authenticity and modernity, presenting minimalist pieces adorned with intricate lace patterns. Each of her creations is lovingly handcrafted in her Hackney studio, ensuring that no two pieces are alike.

Beyond her artistic endeavours, Ayse also nurtures the ceramic community through her creative space, the 'Clapton Clay Room,' where she imparts her knowledge and passion to aspiring ceramists and hobbyists alike.
