How can I view the artworks available?
Our full collection is currently available to view on our website. For further information on any works please feel free to contact the gallery where a member of the team can assist you further.
How can I find out the costs to hire artworks for an upcoming project?
Please send us an email which includes the selection you would like to consider for your project. (this can include links or screenshots of the works) From here, we can check the costs and availability of the works and come back to you with a quotation.
What do you need to know about my project?
The collection and return date for the hire will directly impact the availability of works, so please share this with the gallery team in order to check items. We also ask that you include a small brief/reference for the project you are working on so we can use this as a reference for couriers.
How can I confirm the available works for my hire?
We require proof of payment along with a signed hire agreement to confirm the selection of works needed for your project. This will need to be sent back to us prior to the collection of any hires.
Do you include delivery on hires?
At this time, we are unable to offer delivery and collection for any hires. However, we work with a number of trusted couriers that we would be more than happy to recommend. Please note, the goods will need to be fully insured whilst in transit and we may ask you to send us your courier's insurance details, depending on the hire items.
How do I collect/return the pieces for hire?
We ask that items are collected/returned by couriers (9am - 5pm Mon-Fri) from the address confirmed by the gallery team. We ask that each item is handled with care to avoid any additional unwanted charges. Please ask your couriers to quote project references and names relating to the hire so we can ensure the correct items are collected.
Is packaging included in your hire service?
Our hires are packed by our in-house gallery team. Paintings will be packed in a protected padded bag, smaller objects and items will be wrapped then packed into hard case crates for ease of transport. Whilst we aim to package and protect all of our larger items in-house, we ask that these are blanketed and secured directly on the van by couriers to assist in our aim to reduce waste throughout.
What insurance should I get?
It is the responsibility of the hirer and company named on the hire agreement to ensure that all of the goods are insured from the time they leave M.A.H premises to the time they are returned, including transit. You will need to make sure that the goods are insured for the full replacement value of each item. You are fully liable for any loss, theft, damage, repair/replacement costs up to the full ‘risk value’ which is outlined on the hire quote.
How can I pay for the goods I am hiring?
Payment can be made via bank transfer or over the phone. We accept most major credit/debit cards without charge unfortunately we are unable to accept Amex. Payment for the hire of the goods will need to be cleared in our account before any works are released.
Is it possible to extend the hire longer than initially planned?
Extension of the hire is dependent upon whether the piece(s) have been booked out after your agreement ends. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can confirm if an extension will be possible. You will be informed of the additional costs and charged for the extension period.
Can I make amendments to any of the artworks hired?
No alterations are permitted without our written consent. If you wish to make changes, please contact us and we will confirm if this is allowed or not. If any changes are made without our consent, you will be charged for the cost to restore the item to its original state or for a full replacement.
A piece I hired has been damaged, what is the protocol?
Please contact us as soon as any damage has occurred with detailed photos. Once the item is back with us, we will assess the damage and contact you regarding the cost. We will charge you for the repair of the item and also for any depreciation in value if necessary. However, if the item is beyond repair, you will be charged for its replacement. Please keep hold of and return all the parts/pieces to us from the item as this can help us to repair the piece and reduce any costs incurred.
