A designer working with natural dyes, Isabel Farchy creates textile compositions in linen and wool. She prioritises sustainable and reused materials, integrating the marks of time and former uses into her designs, working in opposition to the textile industry’s overproduction.
With Italian heritage, Isabel is strongly influenced by the work of her Milanese grandmother. After a career in education, founding and scaling a social enterprise supporting greater access to creativity for those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, Isabel studied design.
The development of plant dyes and their commercial application is an ongoing part of her research.
