LEO BRUNO TODD

Leo Bruno Todd’s practice is centered upon the transient. Although the places he visits for inspiration have permanency, his relationship with them is often fleeting and too soon a memory.

His paintings consist of architectural relics, ruins, natural formations and the marks and impacts of humans passing through.

Photographs, found objects and fragmented recollections of places provide him with souvenirs and references which act as starting blocks for his works. The end piece being part fact, part fiction. A recollection of a place.

He has no fixed medium, preferred tools or materials, allowing his work to be spontaneous and fluid.
