Lucia Fraser is a multi disciplinary artist specialising in ceramics and painting. Finding inspiration from the natural world she creates work that is gestural and expressive with a freedom of form that often journeys in to abstraction. Lucia’s approach to ceramics is heavily influenced by her painting practice. She creates organic forms that act as three dimensional surfaces for her glazing technique. Her recognisable mark-making transfers from canvas to ceramic in a fluid painterly style.
