MADA VICASSIAU 

Mada Vicassiau studied Fine Arts at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Cergy-Paris. With 15 years experience in the fashion industry, Mada has developed creative and technical skills to balance her unique personal intuition with the business and aesthetic needs of the fashion industry. A few years ago, she left fashion to set foundation to her own interior design company, while making extra time to express her own ideas in the making of art.

Currently based in East London, Mada’s practice is driven by the exploration of visual elements; colour, form and space. Coming from a modernist tradition with a minimal aesthetic, her approach is a subtle investigation into the effect of light on perception and plays with the contrast between the organic versus the abstract geometric.
