NIKKI HEATON

Nikki Heaton's practice is rooted in a single conviction: that being truly seen — even once — changes something in a person. Working in natural textiles and re-cycled material, she makes the invisible visible, giving form to what is felt but unspoken, known but not yet named.

Her work explores the universal narratives of human experience — loss, joy, grief, belonging — the emotional territories that resist easy language but demand to be held. Each series draws from these shared thresholds, rendered in colour, texture and form that speaks to what we carry collectively.

Alongside her series and limited edition work, Heaton offers a rare commission service: a deeply private collaboration that begins with conversation, where an individual story is taken and given its own singular form — a work that belongs entirely to its keeper.

She brings to this practice 25 years in Colour and Material Design, working with major luxury brands including Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren and Microsoft. It was training in precision, in emotional resonance, in the gap between intention and execution. Everything she learned there pointed, eventually, here — toward work where nothing is lost in translation, and the intention arrives whole.
